Introducing the
BMSS P & C ASSOCIATION
On behalf of the P & C Association, welcome to Burpengary Meadows State School. We hope you and your family settle into your new school life quickly and grow to value the commitment to excellence in education on offer at Burpengary Meadows. We look forward to you becoming a part of our wonderful school community.
The P & C offers a forum for parent participation in sharing information and views, helping raise funds for additional resources and building positive attitudes amongst students and their families.
Since inception, the P & C has funded a range of projects such as Air Conditioning for each classroom, AstroTurf, Playgrounds, Upgrades to the Hall Stage and State of the Art Sound & Lighting for the Hall.
Whilst funding these major projects, the P & C has remained committed to annually providing a significant financial contribution to the school to help fund Under 8's Day, Mateship Day, School Swimming Buses, the Sustainability Warriors and so much more. In order to achieve these goals, the P & C, in partnership with the school, coordinate a number of events and activities to raise much needed funds.
The P & C Association is equally committed to ensuring our efforts support the goals and the mission of the school.

Fundraising
The P & C coordinates multiple activities and fundraising events throughout the year. Some of these include:
- Mother's & Father's Day Stalls
- Spell-a-thons
- Scholastic Book Club
- Discos
- Pizza Days
- Raffles
- Family Portraits
- Red Rooster Days
- Chocolate Drives
Meadows Munchies
The P & C operates the BMSS Tuckshop. We have an amazing Convenor who coordinates a team of volunteers to provide this service. Meadows Munchies operates from Tuesdays to Fridays and is committed to the State Government's Smart Choices initiative.
Tuckshop can be ordered online via the QKR App or directly at the Tuckshop.
Uniform Shop
Our Uniform Shop is open Mondays from 8.00am – 9.30am. This service operates every week during school term.
Uniform orders can also be placed anytime via the QKR App and delivered to your child's classroom the following Monday.
Time poor?
HERE ARE SOME WAYS YOU CAN help
We appreciate that everyone has busy schedules and not all parents and carers can donate their time during school hours, however there are lots of other ways that you can help us achieve our fundraising goals.
- Donations to the tuckshop
- Support and attend our major events
- Help us source prizes and donations from local businesses
- Attend the monthly P & C meetings
- Support Mother's Day and Father's Day Stalls
- Help us sell Raffle Tickets
- Keep an eye on the BMSS Facebook page and school newsletter to find out what is happening
- Lastly, if you can volunteer your time at just one event each year, that will go a long way to lightening the workload.
