A child must be five years of age by the 30th June in the year they enrol to be eligible for entry into Prep year.

A copy of your child’s Birth Certificate is required when your child is enrolled along with Proof of Residency and Immunisation Record. Please ensure that the birth certificate you provide for your child's enrolment is a standard birth certificate for identification purposes.

To assist Burpengary Meadows State School in providing your child with the best possible start to their prep year, we encourage families to provide us with as much information as possible. For children who have attended a Kindy Program in an Early Childhood Education Centre, a transition statement will be provided to you by your centre.
