Burpengary Meadows State School community provides a chaplaincy program endorsed by the school’s Parents and Citizens’ Association which is available on a voluntary basis for all students. Our chaplain works with children to develop resilience and positive self-esteem and assists students who may be experiencing some difficulties. Chaplaincy works with our support strategies at BMSS to ensure that students are provided with strategies which will ultimately assist their transition through to high school and beyond. BMSS Chaplaincy also auspices our Playgroup every Wednesday morning over at CREEC Environmental centre.
Chaplaincy Services have been offered in Queensland State Schools since 1990. Our Chaplaincy Committee supervises and organises the funding and delivery of services for BMSS students.
